In 2023, Google Pixel launched 5 new phones, a tablet, watch and earbuds, and enlisted the team at Newfangled Studios to produce more than 100 assets to fulfill their massive paid social media plans.

Pixel asked us to create paid social assets that are:

  • Hard working and built for raising purchase consideration
  • Native & endemic to each social environment
  • Promoting specific product features and benefits

Content that doesn’t scream ad 👏

We teamed up with #TeamPixel creators to tell product feature stories while blending effortlessly with the creators’ passion zones and their everyday content.

Innovative, interactive formats 🎉 🙌

Custom AR lenses, key hashtags that shower feeds with mesmerizing Hashfettis, and even targeted media tactics turning heads during cultural moments like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Traditional assets, but make em social 💯 🤙

On the flip slide, we knew that we needed ads that stood tall amid other e-commerce and high-polish content. Our aim was to ensure these ads felt right at home in their respective environments.
